QUALITY INDICATORS

These indicators are based on a survey of 300 students (and if applicable) and 10 employers. This sample represents approximately 30 percent of this organisation’s training delivery in the 2013 calendar year. The students and employers surveyed for these indicators were selected by this organisation in accordance with national guidelines. Competency completions, in this case, is a measure of volume.

REGISTRATION AUDIT REPORTS

An ASQA audit was conducted during  September 2012 as part of the renewal of RTO registration process.PT Academy was found to be compliant with the VET Quality Framework

Audit was conducted on 24 & 25 September 2012
Qualifications Audited:
SIS30310 Certificate III in Fitness
SIS40210 Certificate IV in Fitness
Audit Outcomes:
Audit non-compliance identified:   Yes
Level of non compliance: Minor*
Summary of non-compliance and actions taken to rectify
One non-compliance was identified, SNR 22.3 Fees in advance.  On enrolment upfront fees were being paid by students.
Actions taken:
On 29 October 2012, evidence of rectification was received by ASQA. This included accepting payments of no more than $1000 prior to commencement PTA may require payment of additional fees in advance from the student but only such that at any given time, the total amount required to be paid which is attributable to tuition or other services yet to be delivered to the student does not exceed $1,500.
PTA has and will maintain the ACPET Tuition Assurance Scheme which allows PTA the option to request upfront tuition payments for potential and returning students.
