Getting qualified isn’t hard, it just takes commitment to your studies and then a willingness to work hard once you are qualified.
Most fitness centres require a minimum of SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness AND SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness. These courses can generally be completed in under 12 months each.
HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid
This is required if you want to register as a trainer with Fitness Australia.
SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness is a further 20 units of study to SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness, AND once you complete this you can take clients one on one and also group PT sessions.
SIS40221 Certificate IV also incorporates business, strength and conditioning and goes further in depth with nutrition and other key subjects.
SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness is a prerequisite of SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness.
