Hello everyone.

Can I start by saying, thank you very much for spending some time watching my very 1st blog on the inter webs?  It really is amazing to know that there is a community out there that wants to get and keep people moving regularly.

So for my second attempt. This time, let’s expand on the theme of my last blog, movement. Specifically, movement versus exercise.

Most people think that they don’t have time to work out. And you know what, they’re probably right. What with putting your work out clothes on, your special shoes and the rest of the accoutrement that goes with exercise. Then transporting yourself to the fitness facility of your choice. All this can take 30 – 45 minutes. Once there you have to do your exercise routine that usually goes for another 45 – 60 minutes. Then disrobe from your workout kit (don’t forget to put clothes back on…. That was an awkward experience!) transport yourself back to where ever it is you need to be again taking up another 30 – 45 minutes of your day. So thats at least one and three quarter hours out of your busy schedule!

The term movement on the other hand, brings other thoughts. You don’t need to have special clothes or shoes. You just need to get up and, you guessed it, move.
